Beeac’s best: Rosebank Lodge

• Rosebank Lodge (Beeac) met by Zoom last night (Monday) with about three dozen in attendance. Grand Master-Elect Richard Elkingtonarrived, after attending a similar meeting at Baxter. Deputy Grand Master-Elect Anthony Bucca also attended. Guest speaker was Ash Long,Superintendent of Communication.

Chapter, Mark arrangements
• Wayne Smith advises: “The Grand Installations of Grand Mark and Supreme Grand Chapter that were scheduled for May 2020, and subsequently deferred to October 2020, have now been cancelled outright.  All Grand Officers in both Orders will continue to serve until 2021.  Arrangements have been made and the next Grand Installations will be held at the Pullman Hotel, Queens Road, Melbourne on April 16-18, 2021.” The full statement is HERE

Old Melburnians help
• Bruce Watson sends news of how Old Melburnians are using the COVID-19 State of Emergency to contact former/unaffiliated members, offering assistance with regular phone chats, shopping errands, and technical aid, especially for the elderly. 

Opportunity to support caterers
• Peter Reade tells of how Lodge Liberation is looking after its caterers during the pandemic, when they cannot meet: “My lodge has just received a huge thanks from our caterer for our gift to her. It was nice to be able to show our appreciation for the many years that she has been looking after us, just wish we could have given more … are there any other lodges looking after their caterers during these unusual times?”
