Famous Freemasons
•  Stutz, Harry Clayton (1876-1930) – An entrepreneur, engineer and innovator, in 1911 Harry Stutz founded the Ideal Motor Car Company which, in 1912, became the Stutz Motor Company. The firm would become renowned for its classic cars built in the late 1920s and early 1930s, especially the stunning Stutz Bearcat, a car that looks good even in the 21st century. In 1919 Charles M. Schwab and two other investors bought Harry Stutz’s interest in the company. Stutz was a member of the Murat Shriners, the ancient Landmarks Lodge No. 319, Indianapolis, and a Knight Templar.”

– Timothy Horton

Masonic Knowledge
• “Our masonic ritual includes a reference to the war between the Ammonites and Jephthah, a Gileaditish leader and judge in the land of Israel,” notes the Freemason magazine (NSW and ACT). “Jephthah is described as a ‘mighty man of valour’ in the land of Israel and was the son of a harlot. Jephthah’s father Gilead had two more sons who following the death of their father, expelled Jephthah from the family, saying to him ‘Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.’ With this Jephthah fled and lived in the land of Tob, a district on the east of theJordan, about 13 miles south-east of the Sea of Galilee.” LINK – Go to Page 8Masonic Wisdom
• “I regard the Masonic institution as one of the means ordained by the Supreme Architect to enable mankind to work out the problem of destiny; to fight against, and overcome, the weaknesses and imperfections of his nature, and at last to attain to that true life of which death is the herald and the grave the portal.” – Bro. Theodore Roosevelt

The Last Word
• “Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving.” – Bro. Dale Carnegie
