Vale Charles Hall
• Barry Minster, Grand Almoner, says: “Sadly, Wor. Bro. Charles Hall passed away on the morning of Saturday, April 25. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.”

Vale Bill Moloney
• The Almoner’s Bulletin Board advises of the passing of Wor. Bro. Bill Moloney of North Melbourne Lodge. His daughter said: “Today we lost a wonderful man, my poppy passed peacefully today/ You will finally get to be with Nanna again looking down on your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You will be greatly missed, we love you William Moloney.”

Vale Ian Scott
• We are saddened to advise of the passing of Wor. Bro. Ian Scott of Brighton District Lodge. His Lodge says: “He was 91. A number of us visited Ian just prior to the lockdown.  He had been given limited time by the doctors, but was very cheerful and prepared.  He said he had had a good life, and had no regrets.  We promised to all have a drink to him, and Ian suggested it be soon so he could attend!.  Of course, that will have to wait now until the lockdown is eased.”

In search of Bro. E. Stanley Brookes
• John ‘Nobby’ Forster writes: “I am wondering if you might be able to assist me, through your daily ‘mail’, to track down some info on a Brother E. Stanley Brookes. He was a famous Dickensain performer, but also an honorary Red Indian Chief, Chief Red Bear of the Sioux tribe in Montana, USA. But more importantly, he was also a member, honorary or not, of the Ku Klux Klan, and he used to deliver talks at a variety of Victorian Lodges about his experiences, I guess mostly centred towards the USA, where he travelled a lot. I wrote to the Grand Librarian back in 1999, but they didn’t have anything about him. Maybe one of your readers might be able to shed some light on this interesting Brother. I think he may have died about the mid 1950s although I am not really sure.

“I have some information about a lecture he delivered at Lodge Loyalty 608 and Automobile Lodge 461, but no time frame sadly. It does refer to him as Brother Stanley Brookes, but … who knows?”
