1. Grand Master’s Doings
• Grand Master Richard Elkington attended at Maldon Lodge last week, and was met with an enthusiastic welcome.
• The holiday weekend was spent at Ballarat, and presentations were made to members of the 2022-23 Grand Ceremonial Team.
• Richard is looking forward to welcoming interstate delegates at the Grand Re-Installation on Saturday week (March 26).
• Richard chaired the Senior Grand Officers meeting on Wednesday (Mar. 16). He also attended the fortnightly meeting of the Communications and Marketing Volunteer Action Team.
• The Grand Master will be at Revival Lodge at Freemasons Greensborough this Saturday (Mar. 19).
• Richard chaired the meeting of the Commercial Council held on Monday (March 14).

• Bookings close this week for the Ladies Brunch, Quarterly Communication and Grand Re-Installation scheduled for Saturday, March 26. LINK
• Adam Woledge is administering the highly competitive Footy Tips competition in the Western District. Adam’s beloved Bulldogs went down by 26 points to Melbourne on Wednesday night (Mar. 16).
• Congratulations to Monash Gully District on an outstanding 13-page newsletter.
• The Melbourne High School Lodge meeting scheduled for this Sunday (Mar. 20) has been cancelled.
• Freemasons Victoria is holding an informal luncheon at Williamstown on Wednesday, March 30, to share news of its successes over the past seven years. No charge. Light lunch and refreshments will be served. BOOK

4. Stakeholder Relations
• Luke Potter is heading the Stakeholder Relations and Business Development portfolio for the Communications and Marketing Volunteer Action Team. He delivered a paper at this week’s meeting, identifying the following areas in which relations can be built: Government, Government Agencies, Media, Not-for-Profits, Profits, Health, Business, Education, Religious/Philosophical, Protective Services, Cultural Organisations including Cultural Media, Masonic World outside Freemasons Victoria, Research.
• Luke’s portfolio will be explored further in the next VAT meeting to be held at 5pm, Wednesday, March 30.
