1. This Week

• The Grand Master (Anthony Bucca) presided at last weekend’s Grand Installation. The associated events included a Meet and Greet, Ladies’ Breakfast, Quarterly Communication, Grand Banquet, Farewell Luncheon, plus a dinner for Australasian Grand Masters and Grand Secretaries.

• Barry 
and Jill Dyce were presented with the Grand Master’s Order of Merit at the Grand Installation.
• Ash Long 
was presented with the Grand Master’s Order of Service at the Grand Installation.

• The Grand Master attended his own Lodge, Amicus, last night (Tue.) at Freemasons Melbourne for a Second Degree ceremony.
• This week started with Installations at Lord Carrington Lodge (Monday) and Warragul Lodge (Tuesday).

• The Grand Master will participate in the Maldon Easter Monday Parade, with Freemasons of all degrees marching in full regalia. There will be a barbecue lunch, and dedication of the Mark Wall. BOOK
* The Grand Master has been invited to be the keynote speaker at the Chapter and Mark Installation on the April 14-16 weekend.

2. Pithy Paragraphs

• A joint meeting between Victoria and New South Wales jurisdictions is to be held at Deniliquin. More details are to be released soon.
• Nominations for the Masonic Council and the Commercial Council are being received by the Grand Secretary until 5pm, Wednesday, May 24. Nominations must be accompanied by a current resolution by the member’s Lodge, co-signed by the Lodge Master and Secretary.
• The vote for the Masonic Council and the Commercial Council is to be held in conjunction with the Quarterly Communication to be held on Wednesday, June 14.
• Any lodges conducting collections on Good Friday (Friday, April 7) for the Royal Children’s Hospital, are asked toplease email details this week to the Grand Secretary. grandsec@freemasonsvic.net.au 
• Heathcote Lodge has helped re-establish  the 1st Heathcote Scout Group by providing premises to meet and finance to set them up.
• South Gippsland District held a Masonic Lawn Bowls Competition last Friday (Mar. 24).

• John Rodrigo will become 100th Master of Clifton Hill Lodge on May 4 at Freemasons Box Hill. The Grand Master will preside.
