Want to be a volunteer on the Membership team?
Monday, April 20, 2020
Paul Brennand, Grand Superintendent of Membership, would like to hear from Freemasons who would like to be on the Membership Volunteer Action Team.
With the appointment of a new Chair of the Membership VAT, it is timely to re-align its objectives, especially in light of the current situation.
We cannot predict how Brethren will respond when this is all over, so we are best served preparing for it now.
The current Membership VAT is therefore dissolved, though, of course, existing members are encouraged to re-apply to join the team.
You are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to join the Membership VAT.
We are looking for Brethren who are passionate about preserving and growing Freemasonry in Victoria – and that can take many forms.
You may have had a background in recruiting people to an organisation or have worked in an environment in which you were managing such activities.
You may well have belonged to similar organisations facing similar challenges, whether it be other Service Clubs or indeed Public Services.
But most importantly, you must share a passion to ensure that our great organisation is able to survive and grow when this terrible virus finally passes us by.
We are keen to have a team that is a broad representation of our membership including the rural and regional areas.
Although our meetings will necessarily be via digital means at the moment, it is anticipated that this will form the majority of our meetings going forward also – so distance is no impediment to membership.
Please provide a brief overview of your relevant skills and background indicating your particular areas of interest for this purpose and send your Expression of Interest to paul@brennand.com.au, Grand Superintendent of Membership.
This Expression of Interest has a closing date of Monday, May 4,2020.
