1. Grand Master’s Doings
• Grand Master Richard Elkington attended at the Western Masonic Centre for the 12 Second Degrees held last Saturday (Mar. 5).
• Richard will be at Traralgon Lodge tonight (Wed.) for the 65-year jewel presentation to Vic Allaway.
• It was a 2.30am arrival home for a long return journey after attending Glenroy Lodge’s meeting last week at Essendon.

• The Grand Master was a visitor at Bank Place Lodge last Saturday (Mar. 5) at The Savage Club.

• Richard was pleased to enjoy the hospitality of Garibaldi Lodge.

2. Pithy Paragraphs

• Richard Shelly of Admiral Collingwood Lodge says that a Planning Committee is being formed to make arrangements for the centenary of Freemasons Ivalda Masonic Centre in December 2023.•

• Moorabbin Lodge is to have a vote to change the colour of its bow-ties.
• Deputy Grand Master Anthony Bucca attended Doutta Galla Lodge and Gregorios Lodge. He also attended the Western Masonic Centre for the Second Degrees for 12 men.

• Is your Lodge including the location of its meeting in its Summons?

• Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite has restructured its districts. New District Commanders are Max Poyset and Peter ‘PJ’ Milne. Ian Alexander is District Commander for NSW Riverina. Glenn Hollibone and Rahim Samat are District Recorders.

4. Ralph Greenough Promoted

• Max Paulet writes: “On the occasion of the presentation of WBro. Jim Hood’s 60-year jewel attended by the Grand Master MWBro Richard Elkington, RWor. Bro. Ralph Greenough was promoted to the rank of Past Grand Senior Warden.• RWBro Ralph was initiated in the Sutherland Lodge 691 on January 24, 1964; passed April 24, 1964; and raised on October 23, 1964. He progressed through the offices to be installed as Worshipful Master of Sutherland Lodge for the 1979-80 year.
• RWBro. Ralph Greenough is a foundation member of the Traralgon LodgeNo. 925 and has served several officers in the Lodge including Director of Ceremonies, Senior Deacon, Inner Guard and Treasurer. He is an excellent ritualist and delivers several charges including traditional history in the Third Degree.
• He joined the 1989 Grand Lodge team as a Grand Steward and was conferred the rank of Past Grand Standard Bearer in 1990. In 1995 he was promoted to Past Junior Grand Deacon, in 2001 promoted to Past Grand Inspector of Workings followed by the promotion to Past Grand Junior Warden in 2011 Both RWBro. Ralph and his wife Barbara have been great supporters of the Traralgon Lodge, and before that the Sutherland Lodge.
