1. This Week
• Since the most recent FVNews, the Grand Master’s Lodge visits have included DeniliquinSandringham, Fraternal, Traralgon and North Melbourne.

• The Grand Master, Anthony Bucca, attended the Freemasons Foundation presentation of scholarships. SEE PHOTOS
• The Grand Master will be greeting hundreds of Brethren who have booked for the Quarterly Communication to be held at Freemasons Bayside at 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 21. Free event. BOOK
• The Grand Master encourages all to book for the Exemplification Day (no cost) to be held at 1.30pm on Saturday, June 24 at Freemasons Melbourne. BOOK
• The annual Synagogue Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 1, at Temple Beth Israel. Free, BOOK
• The Grand Master and his Deputy intend to travel to Sydney on the September 16-17 weekend for the Re-Installation of Leslie Hicks as Grand Master. The team was unable to attend the Installation of MWBro Hicks due to COVID restrictions last year. The Grand Master would welcome any team members who wish to form a delegation to travel that weekend with him.

• Freemasons will vote electronically (smart phone, computer, device) and by phone on Wednesday, June 21, for members of the Masonic Council and Commercial Council. The Grand Secretary will be emailing details of the vote in coming days.

• Neil Cripps, Executive Officer of Freemasons Foundation Victoria, advises of a 0.4 FTE Administration Officer position. The role involves managing databases, general administration tasks and building and maintaining effective stakeholder relations. 3. ‘Have You Anything To Communicate?’

• Tony McDonall advises: The funeral service for Bro. Len Cutts, 98, former member of Samaritan Lodge and former member of the Grand Lodge Choir, will be held at 10.30am on Thursday, June 15, at Tobin Bros, Tower Rd, Werribee.
• Alan Thompson says: Royal Freemasons is organising a committee for the next (42nd) Golf Day. Bruce Keenan needs assistance.”It would be ideal if members of several different lodges could be involved, say a committee of 5 or 6, to start asap for this year’s game.” Contact Bruce (0438 347 699) or Alan (0414 363 853) or Laura Swindley from Royal Freemasons (9452 2444).
• John Glover reports: Some 100 brethren assembled in Deniliquin to participate in the demonstration Installation conducted by our Grand Master and the Grand Team in the presence of the Grand Master NSW & ACT and his Grand Team. A banquet followed. Riding for the Disabled was selected as a charity for support, having been decimated in the recent floods. Nearly $23,000 was presented from the two Grand Lodges together with proceeds of an auction conducted during the evening.
• Jim Prigg passes on a half-page press clipping from the Colac Herald recording a donation to the Riding For The Disabled, with a $2700 contribution from Riding For the Disabled.
