1. This Week

• The Grand Master, Anthony Bucca, will participate in the United Service Lodge Reconsecration at Keysborough (Sat., July 29).

• The Grand Master attended the memorial meeting of Baden Powell Lodge last Monday (July 24) that paid tribute to the life of RWBro. LorMichael Baden Powell. The Grand Master donated $2000 towards Myeloma Australia, a favourite charity of the Baden Powell family.SEE PHOTOS

• The Grand Master and his Deputy intend to travel to Sydney on the September 16-17 weekend for the Re-Installation of Leslie Hicks as Grand Master. The team was unable to attend the Installation of MWBro Hicks due to COVID restrictions last year. The Grand Master would welcome any team members who wish to form a delegation to travel that weekend with him. • The Grand Master will attend the Annual Communication if the District Grand Lodge of the Middle East at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Saturday, October 28

• The Deputy Grand Master, Peter Henshall, will attend the Installation and Dinner Meeting of Brunswick United Lodge that will also pay tribute to the life of WBro. Nick LeRay-Meyer AM, PGStdB.

The Kyabram Free Press (with Shepparton News) gave valuable publicity to yesterday’s film night (This Man’s Worth).
• Comms Success. The Local Paper group (with Melbourne Observer) gave full-page pictorial coverage to Laurie Jacob’s Installation at Antient York Lodge (Freemasons Preston).
A number of Lodges have great newsletters. Thanks to Brian Bennett for forwarding the Killara Gazette.

• Eric Williams
says that the 80’s Night – Charity and Happiness Event at Freemasons Bayside on Saturday, September 2, has been cancelled until a date to be fixed in 2024.
Lisa Coleman of Freemasons Foundation Victoria advises: “FFV’s Bursaries provide financial support to enable students to complete a course of tertiary study – and no connection to Freemasonry is necessary. Applications close on August 31.” FIND OUT MORE

of Geelong Lodge of Unity of Prudence informs of the 150th Anniversary Reconsecration to be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 21. The Grand Master will be in attendance. The banquet will be held from 6pm at the Belmont Bowls Club. $60 per person. BOOK
