1. This Week

• The Grand Master, Anthony Bucca, officiated at the Consecration and Installation of Lodge Cathay No. 38 at Freemasons Melbourne on Saturday, August 19. David Foong is the Foundation Master.
• The Grand Master made 40-year jewel presentations to Mark Gealer and Peter White at the Lodge of Good Companions at Freemasons Waverley early this week.
• The Grand Master’s engagements this month have included a visit to Lodge EOS at Lilydale, the Installation at Killara (Greensborough) and Ivanhoe (Ivalda), the Combined Lodges Meeting at Keysborough, SEAVIC Lodge, Emmanuel Marabeliotakis’s last night at Werribee, the Prince of Wales Lodge Installation at Smythesdale, as well as the Lodge of Quest Installation this Saturday (Aug. 26)of Michael Butera at Freemasons Maroondah.
• 
As Honorary President, the Grand Master will attend the Royal Freemasons Board Meeting to be held on Tuesday (Aug. 29).
• What does your Masonic calendar look like in September? A glimpse at the Grand Master’s diary for next month includes Warrnambool (Sep. 2), Sandringham (Sep. 7), Dimboola (Sep. 9), New South Wales-ACT (Sep. 16-17), Victorian Quarterly Communication (Sep. 20), Heathcote (Sep. 21), Werribee Enterprise (Open Installation – Sep. 23), and Williamstown St Andrews (Sep. 28).

• The Grand Master and his Deputy intend to travel to Sydney on the September 16-17 weekend for the Re-Installation of Leslie Hicks as Grand Master. The team was unable to attend the Installation of MWBro Hicks due to COVID restrictions last year. The Grand Master would welcome any team members who wish to form a delegation to travel that weekend with him. BOOK – you may need to create a new account at that website.
• The Grand Master will attend the Annual Communication if the District Grand Lodge of the Middle East at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Saturday, October 28. He is provisionally booked for October appointments including Kyneton (Oct. 2), Plaridal (Oct. 7), Lodge of Australia Felix (Oct. 12), Lodge Liberation (Oct. 14), Cranbourne (Oct. 16), Melton (Oct. 19), Geelong Lodge of Unity and Prudence (Oct. 21), Northern United Chapter (Oct. 24), and Southern Cross (Maldon) on Oct. 26.

• Estia Health has bought the Royal Freemasons Kangaroo Flat aged care home, reports the Bendigo Advertiser.
• Estia Health is moving its Samaria Rd aged care home at Benalla to the Royal Freemasons sit at Thomas St, says the Shepparton News.
• Masonic Council member Eric Williams gave a lecture entitled ‘The Benefits of Being A Freemason’ at Mount Scopus and Collegians Lodge on Tuesday this week (Aug. 22). The Lodge’s Installation has been delayed at least until November while Peter Morris has a hospital stay and recovery.
